All submissions undergo initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts. Reviewer and author identities are concealed throughout the process. The Editor-in-Chief (or a designated handling editor without conflicts) makes the final decision based on the reviewers’ reports and the manuscript’s scientific merit.

ACAM follows COPE recommendations and international best practices. Human studies require ethics committee approval and compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki; animal studies must follow institutional and international standards. Plagiarism, data fabrication/falsification, duplicate submission, and salami publication are strictly prohibited. Conflicts of interest must be disclosed by authors, reviewers, and editors.
