Plagiarism Policy

Annals of Clinical and Analytical Medicine (ACAM) is dedicated to upholding scientific integrity and publication ethics by requiring all submitted articles to be free from plagiarism and contain original content. Authors must present only their unique work and properly cite all sources used.

ACAM enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism and academic misconduct to maintain scientific credibility. All submissions are thoroughly reviewed to meet the journal’s high academic standards.

Plagiarism Check Process

All manuscripts are screened using reliable software such as DupliChecker before peer review. The acceptable similarity threshold is below 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this limit may be returned for revision or rejected.

Types and Scope of Plagiarism

ACAM defines plagiarism broadly, including direct copying, improper citation, unattributed ideas, and self-plagiarism. All submissions must be original and must not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere.

Actions if Plagiarism is Detected

If plagiarism is detected, authors must correct the issue immediately. In serious or repeated cases, the manuscript will be rejected, or if already published, retracted. The author’s institution may also be notified, and future submissions may be restricted or permanently banned.

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscript is entirely original and properly cites all sources. The content must not be under review or published elsewhere. Academic integrity is a core requirement for all submissions.

Role of Reviewers and Editors

Reviewers and editors are expected to be vigilant and report suspected plagiarism to the editorial board. Editors manage the process with full transparency and adherence to ethical guidelines.
